SARR Members: We're Moving Our Web Site Shortly!
In order to bring you a better mobile website experience and better integration with RunSignUp race registration we are moving our web site!
On Monday, December 11th
, an email was sent to all active members explaining the time table and processes in detail. Especially if you didn't receive the email, please login and update your email in your member profile if your not sure what email you used when you joined SARR or your email has changed.
After logging in, click the down arrow next to your name, and then 'Profile' to check and/or change your email address.
On Wednesday, December 13th
, we shut down new member signups and renewals on this site at noon. This will ensure all renewals and new sign ups will get transferred to the new web site.
On Friday, December 15th
we'll actually move the web site to it's new location. It will take a while for our web address to update but within 24 hours, SARoadrunners.com and SARoadrunners.org will bring you to our new website where new member registration and renewals will be available. We'll also send out a second email on Friday, December 15th explaining how to get a new login and password for the new website.
Sorry for the few days of interruption but we hope the new website will be more convenient especially on phones and offer new possibilities for race registration and marketing. The more interest we can drive in our races means more income and more we can do for our members!
Race News - Changes for 2018
In an effort to find the right mix of races for our members and the running community, SARR has revamped our 2018 race schedule.
- We are replacing the Buffalo Hump run with an end-of-year SARR Member & Volunteer Appreciation event.
- We are no longer doing the Cobweb Chaser and instead have joined forces with Lifetime Fitness to put on the very successful Commitment Day run on January 1st.
- The Endurathon has moved to November to accommodate more runners looking for longer races that time of year.
- We have also added a new race called May The Fourth to add another family-friendly event in town.
SARR will continue to evaluate our race schedule every year to make sure we are putting on the best events possible.
