Fall Full / Half / 10K Training Program

 

4 TRAINING PROGRAMS TO CHOOSE FROM

·         You Can Do 26.2 Full Marathon Training Program – Designed for runners who are ready to take on the marathon and have completed a half-marathon within the last year.  Runners must be able to run 6 miles without stopping at the beginning of the program.

 

·         Let’s Run 13.1 Half Marathon Training Program – Designed for runners wanting to complete their first or fastest half marathon. Runners must be able to run 3 miles without stopping at the beginning of the program.

 

·         Walk/Run 13.1 Half Marathon Training Program – Designed for new runners or anyone who wants to walk a portion of the race.  This programs uses a proven method of alternating walking and running to get you across the finish line.

       Take on the 10K - Designed for runners who are ready to take on the 10K and have already completed a 5K.

 

Fall Full / Half Marathon Training Program

  • Registration is now closed.  All 400 spots are filled.  No in-person registration available this year.  Registration will re-open for the 2018 season in the summer of 2018.
  • Focused on preparing for the Rock-n-Roll San Antonio races December 2-3.  This program will also work for Dallas and BCS half/full marathons in December.
  • 16 week training schedule starts on August 13th.
  • Tips and techniques to improve your running.
  • This program will sell-out as it has for the past 3 years so register early if you want to guarantee your spot.  Registration will end at 400 runners.
  • Weekly group runs every Saturday morning and Tuesday evening.  Optional group runs throughout the week.
  • Tuesday evening group runs will feature brief talks by RRCA Certified Coaches or other experts on various topics related to training.
  • Standard and advanced training schedules available.
  • RRCA Certified Coaches and experienced pace leaders and mentors.
  • Team running shirt provided.
  • Optional 6-week base builder program begins the week of July 3rd with the team kick off run on July 8th.
  • Different pace groups to support all levels of runners, including run/walkers.
  • Flexible weekly workout schedule.
  • Team training shirt provided.
  • Pricing For SARR Members:

    10K - $30 thru May, $35 thru June, $40 thru July, $45 in August

    Half/Full - $35 thru May, $40 thru June, $45 thru July, $50 in August
  • Pricing For Non-Members (pricing includes cost of SARR membership):

    10K - $55 thru May, $60 thru June, $65 thru July, $70 in August

    Half/Full - $60 thru May, $65 thru June, $70 thru July, $75 in August
