The Hot Dog Trot benefits Parker Paws, a non-profit volunteer group supporting the animals at the Weatherford/Parker County Animal Shelter. We rely completely on donations so that we may provide shelter supplies, foster pets, conduct offsite adoption events, and provide low-cost spay/neuter clinics. For more information about our group, please visit www.ParkerPaws.org. The event is presented by Wright Chiropractic Health Center.
Activities include a 1K Fun Run/Walk and certified 5K course (with or without dogs), a canine costume contest, demonstrations by local canine clubs and trainers, vendors with items for sale, $$$ in raffle prizes, and more.
We'll once again have the event at Hall Middle School at 902 Charles Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. It's an easy drive, taking exit 406 off Interstate 20. Drive north on South Bowie for 1 mile and turn right on Charles Street. The school is just 0.6 miles on Charles Street and well marked. The 1K/5K courses take you through historic Weatherford.
